• Debug: Writing queries for the ideal visualization oftentimes involves debugging typos or syntax issues through trial and error. The debug tool helps to catch these pesky mistakes that sometimes escape the human eye.

As an example, I asked Dune’s Create Wand to ‘Compare all the NFT marketplaces across ETH over the past 90 days’ and the tool was able to create a chart in 40 seconds. From there, I’m able to adjust the data visualization, refine the query further, or add it to a dashboard in my account.

How Etherscan’s Code Reader clarifies smart contracts

Ever tried to read a smart contract as a non-technical individual? Good luck! A few months ago, Etherscan, the Ethereum blockchain explorer, released Code Reader. The tool leverages AI to provide users with the ability to retrieve and interpret the source code of a specific contract address. With Code Reader, developers (or curious individuals) could understand smart contracts more effectively in a variety of ways:

• Code overviews: Generate prompts to understand specific sections of the smart contract, or query specific parts of the contract for documentation and reference purposes.

• Retrieve read/write functions: Obtain a comprehensive list of smart contract functions related to reading and writing Ethereum contract data, along with detailed explanations of their respective functionalities.

• Exploring dApp integrations: Understand how the contract can integrate with other dApps.

How Spectral Labs empowers dApp creation

A couple months ago, Spectral Labs unveiled SYNTAX – a LLM that turns natural language into Solidity code, allowing everyone to create smart contracts regardless of skill level. SYNTAX users can compile, debug, and deploy AI-generated solidity code, all through a natural language query.

The apps created from SYNTAX can be configured as ‘agents’, controlling funds and conducting transactions to buy, sell, and trade tokens as if they’re actual humans. Although a lot more care and consideration would be needed to let this happen, tools like SYNTAX provide a glimpse into the future where we won’t clicking 10 times to purchase a token. Instead, an AI agent will do that work for us when a set of pre-determined conditions are met.
