Building AI-Enabled Marketers

How Myosins Forward Deployed Marketers operationalize AI, automation, and growth workflows.

McKinsey's 2025 State of AI report revealed a stark reality: while 88% of organizations use AI in some capacity, only 6% are "AI High Performers" who redesign workflows, scale faster, and extract real transformative value.

What separates the 6% from the 88%?

It's not access to tools, and it’s certainly not awareness: it’s hardly news that AI is transforming industries at a staggering pace. The barrier, in our view, is simpler but harder to overcome: time and leadership commitment. Most teams are too busy to invest the hours needed to move from dabbling to mastery. And without commitment from leadership, individual enthusiasm will never translate into organizational capability.

At Myosin, we view this as an opportunity. In October 2025, we launched an internal AI-Enabled Marketing workshop to stay at the cutting edge of AI tooling, train our network to effectively deploy automation and AI in client work, and build products that serve the wider crypto community.

Three months later, this is what we learned:

The Curriculum

Workshops were run on a weekly basis and led by members from across the Myosin network, with one core topic per week and associated homework.

Attendance was voluntary, and sessions were run by members of the network who had actually built products for clients, sharing real workflows and challenges.

The curriculum was broken down into five core learning tracks:

1. Automation Foundations with N8N
Understanding workflow logic, API connections, and how to turn manual tasks into automated systems. We built an n8n workflow comprising an X scraper for social monitoring.

2. Product Building with Lovable, v0, Google AI Studio + N8N Integration
Creating functional front-end applications connected to databases (Supabase and Google Sheets) via n8n. We built multiple functional front-ends for different use cases, including a market segmentation tool.

3. Engineering Mindset & Debugging with Cursor
Learning how software engineers think about builds, structure projects and implement logging, while learning to build Telegram AI bots using Cursor.

4. AI-Powered Content Creation
Using LLM and MCP integrations to improve content output. Learning to train models to write in a more ‘human’-voice and facilitate first drafts for content, while spotting clear signs of AI-generated content.

5. Video Generation
Creating 30-second AI-generated videos using tools like AI Studio, Sora, Midjourney, Eleven Labs, Suno and editing software, and using outputs in project proposals.

Each week included homework. Not optional reading or YouTube videos, but actual deliverables that got reviewed and discussed in the next session.

What Actually Works: Accountability Over Ambition

Determining an AI curriculum was not straightforward. AI moves fast; tools we'd planned to cover got superseded mid-program. Sessions we'd scheduled got reshuffled…you get the picture.

Despite these challenges, we remained committed to delivering week over week. And our network showed up. Some jumped in for specific sessions, and a core group showed up every week, pushing themselves, vibe coding, and spinning out working automations.

The people who got the most from the workshop weren't necessarily the most technically experienced. They were the ones who:

  • Enjoyed experimentation - Broke things without panicking

  • Asked questions - Publicly, repeatedly, without ego

  • Didn't take themselves seriously - Treated bugs as puzzles, not personal inadequacies

  • Always scoped for value - Killed vanity projects early, chased high-leverage fixes first

  • Showed up - Week after week after week

These insights won’t shock you. After all, as David Goggins or [Insert Guru of your choice] will tell you, what takes someone from 88% to the 6% isn’t innate skill, it’s consistency and the right mindset.

From Internal Training to Client Capability

V1 is over. But really, we’re just getting started. The AI-Enabled Workshop is a small part of shifting tides within Myosin.

In 2026, we will be evolving from a client services model to a dual offering: services and products. The AI-Enabled Marketing program feeds both. Internally, it builds our capacity to deploy sophisticated automation, build custom tools, and move at the speed crypto projects actually operate. Externally, it creates the bench depth for our Forward Deployed Marketers (FDM) model.

In case you missed our piece on FDMs check it out here. In short, they’re embedded with our clients to make sure that (i) the AI ‘works’ and (ii) is implemented with strong growth marketing strategies. They are the next generation of Marketing professionals, skilled in AI and able to keep your marketing resources lean, yet cutting-edge. They are the 6%.
