Myosin’s September to Remember: From Seoul to Singapore and Bali in Between

Blake Minho Kim

Co-founder, Myosin

Hey, Myosin fam 👋

As we sit here in sunny Canggu, Bali, unwinding after a whirlwind of conferences and projects, it's the perfect time to reflect on everything we've been up to. September was packed—and I mean packed—with Web3 events, from Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) to Token2049 in Singapore and Solana Breakpoint.

Now that we've caught our breath (and a tan 🌞), we're ready to look back at everything we accomplished last month and, more importantly, share what's coming next.

From Seoul to Singapore

We kicked things off at Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) in Seoul. KBW is one of the most buzzworthy events in Web3, and this year was no exception. The energy was ELECTRIC. It drew the who's who of the crypto space, from developers to institutional investors, all sharing insights on what's coming next in Web3, NFTs, and DeFi.

From Seoul, it was straight to Singapore for Token2049, one of the biggest crypto events on the calendar. We arrived just in time for the chaos and excitement. Imagine over 20,000 attendees from 7,000+ companies all in one place, sharing alpha and making moves. The energy was wild.

After Token2049, we kept the momentum going at Solana Breakpoint. This gathering at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre was a melting pot of developers, industry experts, artists, students, creators, and entrepreneurs. If you've ever wondered what it's like to be in a room where everyone's brain is operating at warp speed, this was it, and the focus was clear: What's next for Solana?

We also hung out with some of the Solana crew for networking (and maybe a drink or two). It's always cool to see how passionate this community is and how committed they are to pushing the limits of what blockchain tech can do.

Heading to Bali

After all that conference craziness, we needed to chill. And what better place than Bali? From September 22nd to 29th, we set up shop at our offsite in beautiful Canggu with 10 of our rockstar members from around the globe for a week of rest, relaxation, and some serious business.

Reflecting on Our Journey

We've been building Myosin for about three years now, and let me tell you, it's been one hell of a ride. We've proven that you can build a DAO that sustains itself, makes money, and doesn't descend into chaos. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

But we're not here to just pat ourselves on the back. We're here to level up. The big question on everyone's mind was: How do we hit that next level of scale, opportunity, and growth?

Next-Level Scaling

Even though we are a DAO, we've been largely a DO (Decentralizing Organization). We are not as autonomous as we'd like to be. So, we're on a mission to put the 'A' back in DAO. And you know what's going to help us get there? AI!

One of the most exciting parts of the offsite was our AI-focused workshops. We've been using AI for about a year and a half, but now we're doubling down. We're not just talking about slapping some chatbots on our website and calling it a day. We're talking about integrating AI into EVERY. SINGLE. PART. of our organization.

It will help our members be more autonomous, deliver services more efficiently, and improve our internal operations.

Finding Our Ikigai

One of the highlights was an Ikigai workshop, where we helped each team member explore their personal sense of purpose.

What are you good at? What do you love? What can you get paid for? Finding that sweet spot was eye-opening for everyone and deepened our bond as a team.

The Fun Stuff

But hey, it wasn’t all about work; we had to soak in some Bali vibes.

We cruised the streets of Bali on mopeds…

Enjoyed the food…

And chilled with puppies at a local dog shelter.

Shoutout to Jim from Spotting Labs and the Javelin and FWB communities for sponsoring drinks at Potato Head—nothing beats rooftop cocktails at sunset with friends from across the ecosystem.

What’s Next for Myosin?

Let's just say...things are about to get really exciting.

We're gearing up to transition Myosin from a pure agency model into something bigger and better: a SaaS-style platform that will totally change how our members and clients interact with Myosin. We're talking about building our own internal product to manage deal flow, deliver client services, and become a centralized hub for everything Myosin.

We're ramping up production, hiring devs, bringing on product designers—the whole nine yards. Our goal? To be a REAL DAO by next year. More decentralized, truly autonomous, and with a sustainable, scalable business model powered by AI and our shiny new platform.

A Bullish Future Ahead

So there you have it, folks. September was a month of conferences, connections, and charting our course for the future. We laughed, we learned, we probably had one too many Bintangs (but who's counting?).

Keep your eyes peeled on X and other socials because the next few months will be one hell of a ride. Whether you're a member, a client, or just a friend of the network, we're excited to have you along for the journey.

Stay tuned, and we'll see you on the blockchain.

LFG! 🚀
